Your Instructor
Mike Bouse is the Accreditation/Recognition Program Manager with the International Accreditation Service (IAS), a position he has held since September 2019.
Prior assuming the duties as an IAS Program Manager, Mike served as an consulting IAS Lead Assessor for 10 years during which he led Assessment Teams in conducting IAS Accreditation assessments of local governmental building departments, fire prevention departments, and code enforcement departments providing property maintenance code enforcement service.In addition, Mike has 42 years of experience in the administration and enforcement of construction codes with local governments in southern California and Nevada.
He is a Certified Building Official and holds eighteen professional certifications issued by the International Code Council (ICC).
Mike also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Redlands and is an ICC published author.
