Prasanth Ramakrishnan serves as Manager, Operations, Accreditation Programs, and Program Manager (Inspection Agencies) for International Accreditation Service (IAS). He has been with the organization since June 2004.

He is a Mechanical Engineer with Masters’ in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is active member of technical organizations such as American Society of Quality (ASQ) and member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Proficiency Testing and Inspection Body committees.

He has conducted numerous assessments and training sessions on conformity assessment standards for many testing laboratories, calibration laboratories, inspection agencies, special inspection agencies, personnel certification bodies, product certification bodies and management systems certification bodies. He has participated and presented in technical discussions, accreditation criteria meeting hearings, and miscellaneous conferences.
